About Us

The Student Success and Advising Center  is dedicated to providing many kinds of help for students at Indiana State University. These services primarily include tutoring, supplemental instruction, accessibility resources, peer mentoring, and 21st Century Scholar support.

The Center provides specialized support programs including the 21st Century Scholar Corps Program, peer mentoring, and Accessbility Resource Office (ARO) which includes assistance to persons with disabilities and special needs. We serve all students on campus, undergraduates and graduates, and we are proud that the institution has been able to keep our diverse array of services free.  We strive to assist students in strengthening their study skills, in becoming independent learners, and in advocating for themselves. Please browse our website to view our offerings.

The Student Success and Advising Center strives to support the access mission of Indiana State University by further developing, expanding, and articulating its services to students and faculty and to support the institution’s goals of inclusion and excellence by employing a diverse and able staff to serve as teachers, mentors, and role models for at-risk students, nontraditional students, diverse populations of students, and students with disabilities.

In so doing, the Center provides the opportunity for pre-professional experience through positions for student workers as graduate assistants, tutors, suplemental instructors, note takers, and mentors.
